The following information is updated no less frequently than annually and is current as of December 31, 2006:
Hundreds have contributed to the Foundation, including many Sunset graduates and friends, former teachers and staff, Sunset
classes and other foundations. As an example of successful fundraising endeavors, the Foundation celebrated its ten-year-plus
history in 2005 with its first annual Sunset Lettermen and Friends Golf Tournament. As a result, the Foundation Endowment
received $7,058.66 from the tournament and nearly $5,000 in related gifts. The second annual tournament netted $7,500 for
the Foundation. Plans are already underway for the third annual tournament in 2007.
Pending review and approval by the Board of calendar year-ending financial statements for 2006, the following represent
estimates of key cumulative results of Foundation activities from its inception in 1994 through December 31, 2006: Scholarships
awarded, 48 scholarships to 39 students for a total of $48,500; Contributions plus Earnings, $203,000, including $11,500 held
in reserve for payment of scholarships awarded to specific individuals but not yet paid; expenses, $8,000; and Endowment,
$186,000.
