Mission
It is our purpose to assist recent graduates and teachers of Sunset High School to further their education. Our bylaws state
that we are seeking to reward students that have shown the aptitude and desire to further themselves and develop their talents
so that they may lead productive and fruitful lives in the community.
Foundation Scholarship Goal
In view of initial successes, the Foundation is committed to the goal of giving at least $60,000 per year in college scholarships
to deserving graduates of Sunset. The table below provides one of many possible scenarios for distributing this scholarship
money annually.

However, based on previous successes, a more likely but by no means definite scenario will be to use the funds to continue
the pattern of impacting the maximum feasible number of students through relatively small incentive awards.
Foundation Endowment Goal
In order to fund the FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP GOALS, the Foundation is committed to a FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT GOAL of $1 MILLION.
